Milwaukee filmmakers share ‘Secrets of Sacred Architecture’

Steve Boettcher and Mike Trinklein are best known for their profiles of Television set giants in productions like “Pioneers of Primetime” and this year’s “Betty White: A Celebration.” 

But since they were being young children, the Milwaukee filmmaking companions have experienced one more fascination: churches and other spiritual properties.  

“I keep in mind sitting in church and form of searching all around and striving to comprehend what the artifacts meant,” Boettcher said. 

“One of the factors that is universally real is that both church buildings and filmmaking have one thing in popular — that you’re hoping to explain to a visual tale,” claimed Trinklein, who added that the pair at a single time believed about becoming architects. “I consider it’s that fascination with the storytelling that church buildings do. They’re just really an appealing way in which communities try out to talk.”
